Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Stethos (the "App") or visiting www.neetprep.app (together, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Smiles Ventures, LLC ("we", "our", or "us"), the provider of the Service.

Stethos is a mobile application designed to help students prepare for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) in India. The Service provides:

• Personalized study plans based on your exam date and target score.
• Practice questions across Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology.
• Full-length and chapter-wise mock tests.
• Progress tracking, flashcards, and gamified revision features.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has consented to these Terms on your behalf.

You may sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating your profile.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• Not share your account credentials with any third party.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Free Tier: Core features of the Service — including study plans, practice questions, and mock tests — are provided free of charge and are supported by in-app advertisements served by our advertising partners.

Premium Subscription: A premium subscription (₹149/month or ₹999/year) removes all advertisements and unlocks all four subjects. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are governed by their respective terms.

Rewarded Ads: Watching 10 rewarded video ads grants one month of ad-free access. This benefit resets each cycle.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You may manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's app store account settings.

All content in the Service — including question text, explanations, study materials, software, graphics, and trademarks — is the property of Smiles Ventures, LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any content without prior written permission.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
• Use the Service or its content for commercial purposes.
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service by automated means.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Transmit any harmful, offensive, or disruptive content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
• Interfere with the normal operation of the Service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the content is complete, accurate, or up to date. Study materials are provided for educational support only and do not constitute a guarantee of exam success.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SMILES VENTURES, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or ₹500, whichever is greater.

The Service integrates third-party services including Google (for sign-in and advertising) and cloud infrastructure providers for secure data storage. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party service.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
